Slide About In the Heal Yourself and Move system 'rest' becomes a rest from pain not from activity while activity becomes an exploration of the boundary lines between ease, effort, discomfort and pain.

For people of high physical ability and/or aspiration, these lines are continuously and often by default being blurred and overstepped in the pursuit of excellence in their chosen field.

Because of this, the movement pattern of pushing is often too ingrained for anything other than complete rest to seem to be an option with certain injuries or
movement dysfunctions.

However, through working with 1000’s of athletes and dancers, we have found healing the movement action is the only way to resolve a movement based injury without time based rest periods.

Once 'the transition' has been achieved in how to go from effort to ease in even the most high intensity of actions, the higher the previous ability that has been
developed the easier it is to apply in every action as 'the tracks' of movement intention have already been laid.

In a sense it becomes the equivalent of an upgrade to the ability system whilst injury becomes much less likely.
